What's The Deal with Leggings?

Love em or hate em, leggings are here to stay....why? BECAUSE THEY'RE AWESOME!! Let me tell you my favorite things about leggings.

#1 They are comfortable!  You'll never hear someone say "I can't eat that whole hamburger, my leggings are too tight"
#2 They fit almost any size. So your fat days and skinny days are taken care of. Most leggings are one size fits all, which really means sizes 2-14...I can handle that
#3 They look good with ANY shoe. From flip flops, to Converse, to boots...just do it
#4 Leggings are appropriate for literally ANY occasion!

• Kids football game? Wrap your legs in a cozy pair of fleece leggings
• Night out with the girls? Find a pair with leather accents and put on some heels...so sexy
• Holidays? A pair of printed leggings with festive colors are always appropriate, and you can have pie after dinner!
• Wedding? Of course! Wear a pair of leggings under a shorter dress to make it warmer for winter.
• Work? Same idea, put leggings under a dress and throw on some boots for a chic business casual look

A few legging DON'Ts

• I know this is controversial, but please...always wear leggings with a shirt that covers your butt. I don't care if you have a backside that you can bounce a quarter off of....There might be children walking behind you, and parents have to explain enough of life's wonders to their kids. If there is a shirt that you love that is just  a little to short to cut it, put on a long tank underneath. I sell them for $10
• Don't confuse leggings with yoga pants. Leggings are fitted the whole way down the leg, yoga pants get loose at the bottom.  I'm sure you can wear either one to yoga class, but I wouldn't know.
• Don't buy leggings for your boyfriend or husband...I shouldn't need to explain that one
• Don't wear printed leggings with a busy top. Keep it simple

How to accessorize your leggings!
Leg warmers! Theeeyy're baaaaack... Put them over short boots or under tall boots and let a little stick out the top. It's a cool layered look that ads a little sumthin' sumthin'. They come with details like buttons & lace for a sweet look or even blinged out on top for a little rock&roll.

Boot cuffs- Like leg warmers but don't like the bulk? Get a pair of boot cuffs, they look the same without having to worry if you can zip those suckers up.

Think the printed leggings are just TOO crazy?  Think of it like this. If you are wearing a long shirt and tall boots there is only like 12 inches of crazy showing...That's just about the right amount of crazy if you ask me
